Thing 12 - NetLibrary & World Cat
NetLibrary
1. I already have an account and have used Netlibrary many times before. I have also directed customers to this service and showed them how to use it.
2 & 3. I went throught the database again for this challenge. It is pretty straightforeward. I just don't think the label "econtent details" is appropriate. It is confusing. I think something like "copyright info" or "publisher info" would more acurately descsribe the content of the tab.
World Cat
1. I searched for "Change of Heart" by Jodi Picoult. TR is the closest branch that owns it and after that Woodbridge.
2. There is really good stuff in here. I like the add to favorites feature and that you can link it to your other accounts. I would have liked to see a link to Library Thing but I didn't see that.
3. You can use it for an ILL however it doesn't have a price or month of publication. Amazon works better for ILL's because it has all the info you need. Why go to two sites when filling out an ILL? Amazon does not have all the cool features of WorldCat so on the whole WorldCat is better if I had to compare them.
