Technology Blogging - Thing 10

My tech topic is blogs because they have been on my mind. After working very hard to create something useful and beautiful for my computer classes, http://libraryclasses.blogspot.com/ I am left wanting more.

Yes, it is simple to create a simple blog but creating something that people actually want to spend time looking at is another story. If sites are confusing or jarring then people click to the next site and your time and the content of the site is wasted. If there are a zillion buttons and fifty different font styles and colors people get lost or angry. This is silly and pointless.

The moral of the story. Let's use this knowledge and make our customer's journey into our library's web site an enjoyable experience and one as comfortable as sitting by a fire, reading a good book with a warm, fuzzy cat (or dog) sitting by your side.

Yes, I left my feedback for some unsuspecting library staff member too. It was easy and I hope she likes what I said.
